This would remove a minor annoyance. I have forgotten scripts before, and probably will again. I suppose this will be a nice QoL chance more than anything else.

I was exaggerating.... I know the mechanics. Not the point of the post? I want fighters to return and orbit the carrier once the target is dead.... I do not expect them to make the fighters auto-aggro.

The whole drone interface needs a rework tbh. Your idea isn't bad though. :) Also what Daenika said about the "attack" key binding. Also a scatter mechanic (one drone per wreck/rock) for salvage and mining drones. :)
